They aren't in chronological order but will hopefully give you an idea of some of the wonderful sights we were lucky enough to experience.
Taking a breather while crossing the Alps from France to Italy.

If Carlsberg made campsites... Our spot in the Cinque Terre, overlooking the Med.

Salt lakes in the Camargue. One of my favourite places of the whole trip, wild and incredibly beautiful.

Letting the Landy cool down in the Alps.

The car doubled as a washing line. I don't think the Italians approved of our pop-up shanty-town

Greenlaning on the via Francigena, an 8th century pilgrimage route.

No pilgrims or peasants in sight here. The Land Rover attracted a few compliments and thumbs-up, our fans must have been fed up with Italian supercars.

The legendary Route National 7 from Frejus to Aix-en-Provence, the route des vacances that Charles Trenet loved so much he wrote a song about it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z33pxbRcPBw, same car as Dad's too :)).

Map reading in Tuscany near Florence. Another excuse to let the car cool down.

The Massif de l'Esterel, seen from the route de la Corniche d'Or. Stunning but it took us five hours to get from Cannes to St Tropez (abour 50mi). Not great when it's 37deg.

The MG and big Healey got all the attention.

The terrifying mountain road in the Pyrenees outside the village we stayed in.

Sunset seen from our campsite in the Cinque Terre. Paradise on Earth.

Bologna and the leaking breasts.

The Mont Blanc seen from Lake Geneva.

Yvoire on the French side of the lake. Well worth the 2 hour boat trip.

The grand canal in Venice. We took a taxi boat, the Gondolas rides were far too expensive!

Como seen from above, thanks to the Funiculario.

Swimming in the Med, Cinque Terre. We spent the morning walking along the coast, with the occasional swim break to cool down. In the afternoon, we were taken out in a boat and were equipped with snorkels and flippers. An amazing experience.

All good things come to an end. After 3000mi of relatively trouble free motoring, the clutch or gearbox decided to pack it in. I'm still waiting for the landy to get home, it's sitting in a warehouse in Beziers waiting for a ride back to Northern France.
